We've addressed adding warmth with wood details at a previous post, and the same concept of textural balance is also central at this recently completed renovation in Orange, Ca.

A mix of bold black and white porcelain tile is balanced by the subtle variation and luminous quality of the natural walnut floating vanity. Custom mirrors and glazing, linear lighting and hardware, along with wall-mounted faucets, highlight the contrasting wall and floor finishes.
