Our renderings for the waterfront design maintain the minimalist geometry of the original home, while a reimagined floor plan opens the living room and kitchen to take advantage of water views and exterior gathering spaces.

At the street-facing facade, the exterior design features a series of walls that provide privacy as well as textural interest, with variations in scale and material that complement the clean modernist massing.

At the interior, the design opens to the rear view with full height glazing at the voluminous open plan space, accessed via the front courtyard, where a linear path leads guests along a parallel interior gallery hall.

Sculptural native plantings at the adjacent garden reflect both the minimal lines of the architecture, while providing low-maintenance, contextual and site-appropriate landscaping for this coastal Southern California location.
