From the Site // This contemporary design is currently under construction in nearby Laguna Beach and photos from a recent site visit highlight the unique nature of the location, with beautifully framed views of the Southern California coastline.

The landscape and environmental context serve to shape the overall design, orientation and approach, with a minimalist open concept plan that features spaces open to the natural coastal topography below and the Pacific Ocean beyond.

At the rear of the home, a combined infinity edge pool and koi pond extend the length of the property, creating a dramatic water element that floats on the hillside while drawing the eye toward the canyon and water views below. Extensive glazing, sliding door access and clerestory windows provide both a visual and physical connection to outdoor gathering spaces and recreation areas.
