Not too long ago, we shared interior material palettes for a mid-century addition and renovation currently under construction in Laguna Niguel, California.
With tile installation underway and finishes to come soon, here are a few snapshots from a recent site visit that highlight the depth and detail of some of those carefully selected materials, with a focus on terrazzo and mosaics that add texture, tone and movement at the modernist interior.

The juxtaposition of geometric wall patterns and organic floor textures create interest while maintaining a consistent aesthetic and timeless contrast throughout, as seen in the secondary bathroom above and at the master bath below.
