It's no surprise that many architects are also interested in a number of other design-related fields beyond buildings; in fact, in just our little corner of the internet alone, we've discussed and shared issues related to photography, art, technology and other sources of creative inspiration.

Lately, we've been researching current forms of multi-disciplinary integration, which have become increasingly sophisticated and transformative in redefining existing perceptions, enhancing user engagement in public art, and conveying new interpretations of the built environment.

See below for an example of one such application: a series of large-scale digital projections on an unexpected architectural facade, a project entitled '555 KUBIK'.

How would it be, if a house was dreaming?

555 KUBIK "How it would be, if a house was dreaming" The conception of this project consistently derives from its underlying architecture - the theoretic conception and visual pattern of the Hamburg Kunsthalle. The Basic idea of narration was to dissolve and break through the strict architecture of O. M. Ungers "Galerie der Gegenwart". Resultant permeabilty of the solid facade uncovers different interpretations of conception, geometry and aesthetics expressed through graphics and movement. A situation of reflexivity evolves - describing the constitution and spacious perception of this location by means of the building itself.
