The redesign includes an upper addition with roof deck at the rear of the home, as well as a complete renovation to the main floor living spaces.

At the exterior, stucco, cedar, and wide-plank siding convey a modern beach house aesthetic, while the building massing follows the slope of the street providing for architectural articulation in the context of the scale of the neighborhood.

From the street perspective, cascading floating stairs define the approach, as they create visual interest and lead guests to the cedar-clad entry.
