The winners of the World Architecture Festival 2012 were announced at the end of last week, with 37 awards honoring built and un-built work in a broad range of categories and market sectors.

Now in its fifth year, the ‘world’s largest festival and live awards for the global architecture community’ took place in Singapore over the course of three days earlier this month, with forums, events and talks focused on the annual theme of Rethink and Renew.

Though Gardens by the Bay from Wilkinson Eyre (shown above) took the main prize of World Building of the Year, there were a number of noteworthy projects featured in the pool of winners, so we’re sharing a few of our own favorite picks below...
