Creative branding + 3D animation
A fantastic series of animations from London-based design & motion studio, ManvsMachine, represents a technologically innovative and visually engaging approach to branding and graphics.
The idea of challenging perception and reality provides the basis for the design of a unique visual identity for the new project from Channel 4, a public service broadcaster in the United Kingdom, and embodies the organization's commitment to innovation and experimentation.
Named 4seven because it highlights the week’s most popular programs across television, film and digital media, the channel's logo is integrated into the graphic productions in very clever and creative ways, as evidenced in the video below.
From ManvsMachine:
ManvsMachine worked alongside 4creative to create an on-screen identity which uses a distinctive corner wrap concept across the package. This corner approach creates a visual signature style akin to the Channel4 coming together of the logo, where the viewer is always travelling around a corner from left to right. This holds all the elements together creating a set of idents which result in a logic defying scene reminiscent of M.C Escher.
Another favorite video is a more recent application of the concept- one that redefines how one can interpret the urban landscape by featuring a specific location in Britain- the complex traffic intersection known as Spaghetti Junction.
